Based on a libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ is an opera buffa in four acts.

A compelling plot, interwoven with dramatic and comic events, whose lead players are men and women. A satire about the privileged social classes of the time and an insightful metaphor of the different stages of love. The opera is conducted by Ralf Weikert and directed by Chiara Muti.
