At the Arena Flegrea, the Teatro San Carlo stages Il barbiere di Siviglia by Gioacchino Rossini, directed by Riccardo Canessa, with the poetic scenes of Lele Luzzati and the colorful costumes of Santuzza Cali.

Composed in 1816, by twenty-four-year-old Rossini, the opera, which is about a love story that begins with a moonlit serenade, is considered a masterpiece of comedy within music and a symbol of a genre: the ‘opera buffa’. Director: Giuseppe Montesano. Orchestra and Choir of the Teatro San Carlo.
