Fashion meets art to celebrate the spirit of the great artist, who used the female figure as the main subject of his art. Coinciding with the ‘Les Femmes’ exhibition dedicated to the centrality of women in the artistic production of Amedeo Modigliani, scheduled to run until 9 August at Agorà Morelli in Naples, iconic Neapolitan brand E. Marinella has signed an agreement with the Amedeo Modigliani Institute for the creation of an exclusive collection of women’s scarves in two limited edition version of 200 pieces each, inspired by the works of the Livornese genius. From the painter’s canvas to silk, Modigliani’s masterpieces will now be featured on Marinella’s sublimely delicate silk.

“This is the beginning of a collaboration whose aim is to bring art and Italian fashion to the world-at-large”, commented Luciano Renzi, President of the Amedeo Modigliani Institute. “Marinella, an illustrious name on the Italian fashion scene pays homage to one of the greatest masters of international art. A meeting of talent in honour of an artist who, despite the passage of time, is still contemporary, and a company that symbolizes that time-honoured tradition that proudly represents Made in Italy throughout the world”.

Regal silk is the material chosen for this timeless accessory, a symbol of elegance that enhances femininity to give style and elegance to the woman wearing it. An accessory that is suitable for all seasons, thanks to the exquisite fabrics and original patterns in which it is crafted. Marinella’s Modigliani-inspired collection represents the Maison’s values to perfection, melding its love of art with the mastery of its craftsmen to create an item that expresses pure Neapolitan sartorial tradition.
